Campout!

The Youth took a trip to Devil's Den State Park for a Campout. I know what your thinking, Devil's Den, pretty funny for a youth group trip! I should send it in to Jay Leno "Catholic Youth take a trip to Devil's Den."

Despite a low of 27 degrees overnight, it was a great time. Activities included: Caves, Spiritual Hike, Survivor Challenge, Games, Campfire Songs, Rosary & Mass. It really went well and the youth enjoyed it. Father Johns homily was all about finding God in nature. During outdoor mass a halk flew in and landed on a nearby branch. It was a great moment. Our late Pope John Paul II was a great fan of the youth and in his early years as a priest would take youth on campouts to experience God in nature.

Hey guys, looks like the trip was fun. It's a great size group you have there. Very cool. Do you work with both high school and junior high or are you strictly one or the other?

Shoot me the email again about the family message board. I meant to sign up when you sent it the first time but never got around to it.

Let us know when the trip to Dublin gets planned.
