Aug McAfee Update
The dog days of summer are here! The tempreture has been killer here especially with the high humidity but the changing season has brought a little rain our way thanks be to God!
Jamie - wifey is still working 6 hours a day at Tyson and playing house the rest of the day with baby. She will be heading to Texas to visit family during her birthday in Nov. while I travel with the youth to Ohio for the National Catholic Youth Conference. For our 2 year anniversary we visited Branson MO, kind of a hillbilly version of Las Vegas or Nashville. It was fun, but if you ever get the chance to see "Spirit of the Dance" please, please.. pass it up. Its terrible!
Bree - baby is growing and growing. Here hairs is long enough for pony tails now. She has really developed a great sense of humor which is fun. She is walking like crazy know and has enjoyed her new mobility. We love her!
Travis - I have been getting things ready for this school year with the youth group and religous education. Our summer soccer team has lost a lot of games but we recently won our first game so we are a little more pumped about that. Our newest priest, Fr. Emmanuel is a great soccer player. He is from Nigeria and plays like a pro. Now we just need to get him in shape to play a whole match! I also recently shaved my head which feals great!!!
House - the home has slowed in progression toward our goal but we are still hacking away at the rooms. Right now it is the guest room or extra bedroom (that will be the kids room). Next will be our closet and then the laundry room which will complete the inside of the house! Hopefully this will be completed in a year. The outside got a few upgrades but generally looks about the same.
Dogs - Our bull terrier should be pregnant and we hope to sell the puppies for a nice chunk of money to put into savings and work more on the house. We fear our jack russel may be pregnant again (she came into heat while we were out of town)
JD, Megan & Olivia will be moving to Alandrea VA this Wed. Sad!!!! they will be missed but I am sure they will be spending holidays in town for both sets of grandparents live in our town.
Kurt & Kayla are doing well. Kayla has entered her ultrasound school and has begun classes. Kurt is starting a Plumbing aprentaship where he will work and go to school to become a licenced plumber. We call him Mario now. Looks to be a good career.
Ma and Pa are living the life without kids in the house enjoying various outings and such. Mom is still working at Church and Dad is still Detective. Dad has been working on his vette a lot lately upgrading things.
Please keep the Arkansas (& Virginia) McAfee's in your prayers!
